This worked for about a fortnight until the problem started again and i took it back to the delaer who again cleaned the tank, finally yesterday evening the emissions light went on the dashboard with the same problem starting again. ive taken it back to the delaer this morning who has told me it is again dirt in the diesel tank which has caused
Cheap oils will clog the rings and cause exsessive oil burning. we took the gamble with one of our cars and ran it with oil additive, this can cause problems as it can block a oil way if engine is very carboned up. but did work after a few oil changes and no longer uses loads of oil, and engine breathes as it should.
I have a Kia ceed 2007 1.6 diesel which has done around 118000 miles. I decided to change the fuel filter because of white smoke on cold start. Made a mistake of not doing any research before replacing the filter. As a summary, I have the following problems ever since: - car goes into limp mode (6-7 times) - check engine light turned on twice (P1186, second code to be read tomorrow), - difficult engine start (not always) Can someone “guess” where the problem might be considering the changes they made and the problems? The car is ceed diesel 2007 115 hp.

That says all Kia petrol-engine cars can use E10. In practice if the engine was sold in Europe and was built after 2000 then there's very very few models which can't use E10. For example there's only one model of petrol-engine Ford built since 1992 which can't use E10.

Car: 2007 Kia Ceed 1.6CRDi LS. Problem: Car periodically turns over but does not start, owing to immobiliser intervention; no orange immobiliser light, from searching around here, this suggests key not recognised or detected. Usually, turning the key back to off, waiting a few seconds, and retrying will show the immobiliser light and start the aAzxfC.
